Today, we visit Georgetown, Grand Cayman
Last year when we were here, we just walked around town, shopped, ate, and drank some local beers.
This year, we are doing the Allura Catamaran sail to Stingray Bar tour. (We had to change tours because the sea was too rough for us to snorkel, which we had planned to do)
Before doing the tour, we had time to do a bit of shopping.
We got on a bus to ride to the marina to get on the "cat".
We sat up front for good breezed and great views.
We motored out to the Stingray Bar. The sea was a bit choppy so could see why no snorkel.
These are a couple of characters we saw in town.
We enjoyed our ride out to Stingray Bar.
Heading out to sea...
It was a bit windy but we loved the ride.
There are a lot of people standing on the sand bar viewing and touching the stingrays. Standing was good until a wave hit, then you lifted off the ocean floor!
The following pictures were taken by one of our tour guides. I was glad they did because mine did not turn out as well.
We got to touch the Stingrays. They feel like wet ribber.
This is what happens when a wave hits! Hold on.
Fun, fun time!
This was a big Stingray.... but there were all sizes here.
View of what the Stingrays look like under water.
Since it was so windy, we got to "sail" back to the marina!
This was a very relaxing ride back to shore.
We had a great time today!
Our ride today..... Sweet!!!
After getting back on the ship, we got ready for another Gala Night.
This was the surf and turf night. So Yummy!
Following dinner, we went to see Corey Rodrigues on the main stage. He is a comedian and quite funny. We enjoyed the show.
Tomorrow is Cozumel, Mexico!
Ola, Mexico!
